How to find The White Horse, Oakington
Oakington is situated a mile or so from the A14, few miles north of Cambridge
From Cambridge and the South
From the West side of Cambridge, the easiest way to get to Oakington is via the A14, taking the Dry Drayton juntion, (J30). If the A14 is particularly busy, you can avoid it completely by going through Madingley and Dry Drayton.
If you are coming from the East of Cambridge, as well the A14 option, you can easily find Oakington by going through Girton, Histon & Impington or Cottenham.
Heading for the Dry Drayton juntion, (J30), of the A14 is probably the easiest way to find Oakington if you are travelling from the North West, (St.Ives / Huntingdon).
From due North e.g. Chatteris, the most direct route is via Earith, Willingham and Lonstanton - PLEASE NOTE that the road between Longstanton and Oakington has restrictions and visitors to the White Horse use this road at their own risk.
The alternative route from the North/North West, (e.g. Ely/A10), is via Cottenham.
