What's On at The White Horse

As well as being a popular food destination, The White Horse is also a vibrant hub of the village, and the size and layout of the White Horse means it can host a variety of popular games events without disturbing our diners.

Pétanque, Darts, Cards & Quizzes

Pétanque

We currently have 2 teams who play in the North Cambs Pétanque League on Wednesday evenings. Our large garden has 2 Pétanque pistes which customers are welcome to use at other times throughout the Summer months.

Darts

The White Horse has 2 darts teams who play in the Histon Darts League, every Monday evening during the Winter.

Poker

Oakington has it's own 'Local Poker' league who play Texas Hold 'em on Tuesday evenings for *small stakes. Growing in popularity, there are usually 2 or 3 tables running. Anyone can enter - simply turn up at 8pm on a Tuesday evening.

*£5 maximum stake per person per night. £100 maximum total combined stake. £5 for third place and the rest of the pot is usually split so that the first prize is roughly double the second prize

Sunday Night Quiz

Sunday Night is Quiz Night at the white horse with questions on a broad range of topics. Free to enter, free drinks for the winners - starts sometime after 8pm.
